Celebrating SBGE’s New Majors at Seattle Pacific University
For the first time in three years, students, faculty, and staff gathered in-person on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, as new majors were welcomed to the School of Business, Government and Economics at Seattle Pacific University. The Center for Faithful Business was proud to help celebrate the achievement of our 111 admits to the Accounting, Business, and Economics limited enrollment programs, as well as our 30 admits to the Global Development, Political Science and PPE open enrollment programs from the last year.
These students represent a wealth of interests and passions, experiences and backgrounds. The Center for Faithful Business is excited to be part of their learning and support!
The CFB invites students to engage with the Center’s work. Students can register for our next Faith & Co. course. “Serving Employees” starts April 10, 2023.
Students are also invited to watch the Faith & Co. Films series and consider using the film to spark discussion with a small group of other students. Our latest film, “For All,” tells the story of Brown Venture Group’s work to address access to capital inequities in Minneapolis.
Students are invited to attend the upcoming Bruce Kennedy Ethical Leadership Lecture on Friday, May 3, at 7:00 pm in Upper Gwinn at Seattle Pacific University. Dr. Uli Chi, Center for Faithful Business Fellow and Board Chair of the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health System in the Pacific Northwest, will be the evening’s lecturer. Brad Tilden, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Former CEO of Alaska Airlines, will provide a response to Dr. Chi’s lecture.
Congratulations to all our new SBGE majors! We hope your time here is rich and illuminating, offering opportunities to build relationships that expand your imagination for the integration of your work and faith in service of the common good.
We want to hear from you!
