What if, rather than seeing a person’s disabilities, we focused on the abilities that every person brings?

Northwest Center was started by four moms who were told their kids didn’t belong.  It now operates multiple commercial businesses that employ over 1000 people—40% of whom have some type of documented disability.  These businesses enable Northwest Center to operate early-learning centers and provide early-intervention and employment services for people of all abilities.  They are living proof that inclusion works!
