SPU Giving Day 2023: Equipping Students’ Faith Integration
Spring at Seattle Pacific University means the arrival of sun dappled foot paths and trees newly adorned in white and pink blossoms. It also means, for some, a fast-approaching graduation, and the first steps in their professional career. The Center for Faithful Business at SPU aims to equip students for this critical juncture.
“The integration of faith with school and work has been fulfilling and important because by completing God’s work in the world, I have found myself to be successful and make differences in ways I could’ve never done on my own accord,” says Alexis Gillam, first-year SPU student and Accounting Major at the School of Business, Government, and Economics.
Seattle Pacific University’s fifth annual Giving Day is taking place today, April 5: a one-day opportunity to show your support for SPU students and the areas of campus you care about.
At the Center for Faithful Business, our Giving Day goal of $20,000 aims to expand the Center’s on-campus offerings. Specifically, your contribution will help CFB equip students to integrate faith into everyday life in holistic and transformative ways, shaping what CFB Fellow Steven Garber refers to as “the seamless life.”
With your help, the Center for Faithful Business intends to introduce a new Faith & Co. Lecture series at Seattle Pacific University. Convening a variety of voices from the Faith & Co. Film series, SPU faculty, local church leaders, and student leaders, these panels will help to model and inform an integrated life committed to the common good.
Please join us in our effort to equip students with a holistic faith that will grow with them well into their future careers. Give today!
