Loving One Another

Thinking Out Loud with Megan McCoy Jones

McCoy’s Building Supply

Transcript:

I think in so many ways the church, the design of the church is to live in relationship with God and each other, and you do that by deeply caring for each other. And for whatever reason, the church has struggled in modern days to do that. I have sometimes been discontented even with church myself, and I think it’s because nobody does that better than people here. I watch our team care about each other and think that’s how God designed the church. And somehow, we haven’t been able to pull that off in the way we should have. So I’m not sure if it’s good that we’re having to do it, but it’s necessary. Families look out for each other. Kids look out for each other. Parents who prayed for and saw a child through some really hard thing, they reach out to other parents in the company who are in that same spot. I mean, that’s unbelievable.
